Job summary

Dal-Tile Distribution, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Sorter to join our manufacturing team in Muskogee, OK. You will inspect tile for shade and visual defects, sort finished tile, and ensure a safe, clean work area.

As part of a leading tile producer, you will monitor equipment, follow SOPs, and contribute to quality standards while supporting production goals. Previous manufacturing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous manufacturing/production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tile for shade and defects.
• Sort finished tile and discard defective pieces.
• Monitor equipment and report problems.
• Follow standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Dal-Tile is currently seeking a Sorter to join our TEAM! As the Sorter we need someone who can perform a variety of inspection and sorting finished tile.

Primary Objective:

Inspects and sorts finished tile.

Major Function and Scope

• Inspects tile for shade and visual defects.
• Discards defective tile into trash hoppers.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows standard operating procedures.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Previous manufacturing/production experience.

Competency

Good oral and written communications skills. Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills. Accurate measurement capability. Ability to understand and speak basic English.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
