Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a level one sorting operator in Santa Ana, CA. Under direct supervision you will identify and sort small fastener components such as rivets, nuts, bolt and screw items, then package and prepare for shipment.

You will also complete non-conforming paperwork and strictly follow procedures to ensure quality and consistency. The role requires basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform simple inspections.

Job description

Under direct supervision, level one sorting operators complete basic sorting tasks such identifying and sorting product, namely small fastener components such as rivets, nuts, nut plates, bolts, and screws, packaging sorted product, and filling out non-conforming paperwork and following procedure. This position requires basic mechanical aptitude, the ability to follow work instructions, and the ability to perform basic inspection duties such as visual inspection as well as fit, form and function tests.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $19.00 to $21.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter . Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
