Pacific Coast Fresh Company, a local, family-owned produce distributor serving the Pacific Northwest since 1977, seeks a Sorting and Packaging Associate. You will evaluate, grade, sort, weigh, and repackage fresh produce, maintain workflow, and build pallets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Good oral and written communication skills (ability to read and write in English).
• Attention to detail and ability to differentiate quality levels of various products.
• Must be able to work in a consistently cold environment (45–50 degrees).
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis.
• Ability to stand at a sorting station table for most of the shift.
• Available to work overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, grade, sort, weigh, and repackage fresh produce into original or replacement containers.
• Maintain consistent product workflow by loading and offloading cases onto pallets in the Re-pack area.
• Building pallets and tagging them appropriately with labels.
• Working cooperatively with other team members.
• Cleaning and putting away supplies after each shift.
• Other duties may be assigned.

What You'll Do...
