Job summary

SPIROL International Corporation in Danielson, CT is seeking a dedicated Sorter for the 3rd shift. You will sort SPIROL products accurately on sorting machines or by hand, and maintain the sorting area.

You will ensure proper line clearance, tag items with job numbers, and keep equipment and workspaces clean per company standards. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, the ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly, and mechanical aptitude with multitasking.

We are looking for a Sorter (3rd shift) to join our team in Danielson, Connecticut.

The Sorter is responsible for the accurate and timely sorting of SPIROL product. This sorting could take place on any of the sorting machines, or could be hand sorted. This person is responsible for the maintenance and housekeeping of the sorting area and the maintenance of the sorting machines as established in the Preventative Maintenance programs. The Sorter is responsible for proper line clearance of equipment. Insure all items in sorting area are properly identified with job numbers and tags indicating sorted or not sorted. Maintain all sorting equipment to the preventative maintenance schedules documented for each machine. Insure the sorting area is maintained in a clean and orderly manner, following the housekeeping plan documented for the area.

Job Requirements:

The anticipated pay range for this position is $18.25 - $21.75 per hour. Actual starting pay will be determined based on factors including the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and other job-related considerations.

Employees assigned to eligible shifts receive a shift differential in accordance with company policy.
