RecyclingWorks is currently hiring for a 2nd Shift Sorter located at our recycling facility in Elkhart, Indiana!

Hours are Monday through Friday, 2 pm to 10:30 pm, with occasional Saturday work. Regular weekly overtime is available after 40 hours.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Sorting recycled material onto different conveyor belts and moving material to the appropriate areas.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the recycling area and yard outside.
  • Helping maintain equipment such as balers and conveyor lines.
  • Assuming custodial duties as needed.
  • Performing other manual labor that does not involve the operation of heavy equipment.

Requirements:

  • Ability to perform minimal computer-related tasks.
  • Must be able to stand continually throughout the entire shift.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
