Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking a Porter to perform site level tasks at client sites, keeping grounds clean and orderly and assisting with light landscaping. You will drive to various locations, remove litter, and support the maintenance team including snow removal when needed.

Ideal candidates are at least 18 years old and may need a valid Driver’s License. BrightView offers competitive pay and benefits as part of a team-focused, professional environment.

Responsibilities

• The Porter will be responsible for executing site level tasks on BrightView’s client sites.
• Keep the premises of BrightView’s clients’ grounds in clean and orderly condition.
• Light landscaping and maintenance tasks as needed.
• Transport trash and waste to disposal area.
• Demonstrate professionalism and integrity while representing BrightView.
• Assist maintenance team with snow removal where applicable.
• Walk the property regularly to remove litter and debris.
• Clean and rake shrub areas; shovel mud when necessary.
• Use blower to keep sidewalks and walking areas free of debris.
• Drive to designated areas and collect trash with trash grabbers.

RATE OF PAY IS DEPENDENT UPON PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE AND ANY CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES YOU HOLD, STARTING RANGE OF PAY IS $19 - $21 PER HOUR.

Here’s What You’d Do

• The Porter will be responsible for executing site level tasks on BrightView’s client sites.

You’d Be Responsible For

• Keeping the premises of BrightView’s clients’ grounds in clean and orderly condition
• Light landscaping
• Transport trash and waste to disposal area
• Demonstrate strong professionalism and integrity while representing BrightView
• Assist maintenance team with snow removal (as applicable)
• Physically walk the property on a frequent basis and remove litter
• Clean and rake shrub areas; shovel mud when necessary
• Use blower to keep sidewalks and walking areas clean of loose grass and brush Repair and replace windows, screens, sliding glass doors, etc
• Driving to designated areas in vehicle and picking up trash with trash grabbers
• Other Duties as assigned

Compensation Pay Range

RATE OF PAY IS DEPENDENT UPON PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE AND ANY CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES YOU HOLD, STARTING RANGE OF PAY IS $19 - $21 PER HOUR.
