Job description

This is a remote, western-based regional sales representative position. Preferred candidate locations include Denver, Colorado; Salt Lake City, Utah; Dallas, Austin, or Houston, Texas.

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Senior Regional Sales Representative helps create and execute sales plans to support regional accounts, utilizing an enterprise mindset to optimize profitability for the company and retail partners. Responsibilities include account presentations, analyzing and planning account financials, in-season management, assortment planning, and projecting and tracking inventory needs for future production.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Implement strategies to maintain and grow account relationships within the assigned territory, identifying and executing sales opportunities with an enterprise mindset.
  • Construct, communicate, and execute sales plans and forecasts both externally and internally.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support a best-in-class business.
  • Gather marketplace intelligence and consumer insights to support brand strategy.
  • Deliver compelling seasonal product presentations using persuasive storytelling and directive selling techniques.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

YOU ARE

  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the sales field.
  • Experienced in fast-paced environments with the ability to estimate, balance, and adhere to complex and changing timelines.
  • Passionate about footwear and fashion.

YOU HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree, applicable certification, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong competency with tools, systems, or procedures required for the role.
  • 5-8 years of experience in sales of apparel, footwear, equipment, or equivalent industry merchant experience.
  • Proven success in meeting deadlines and sales/revenue goals in dynamic, fast-paced environments with elements of ambiguity.
  • Experience working within integrated cross-functional teams and establishing effective relationships internally and externally.
  • Advanced knowledge of retail analytics.
  • Excellent interpersonal, persuasive speaking, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft applications.
  • Effective time management skills to handle sample lines, territory travel, setup, and shipments.
  • The ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.
