Job summary
CTS (COM HOME NETWORK SOLUTIONS LLC) is seeking a skilled Tier 2 Technical Support specialist to join our Frisco, TX team. You will tackle complex technical challenges, delivering exceptional customer solutions in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
Ideal candidates have 2+ years in technical or network support, strong home networking knowledge, and experience with ticketing systems. You will collaborate with Tier 3 engineers, document resolutions, and communicate clearly with customers
Qualifications
- 2+ years in technical or network support, Tier 2+ preferred.
- Strong knowledge of home networking: routers, modems, Wi‑Fi, TCP/IP.
- Experience with ticketing systems and documenting resolutions.
- Excellent troubleshooting and customer-focused communication.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve escalated hardware, software, and network issues.
- Troubleshoot home network configurations, connectivity, and equipment failures.
- Serve as escalation point from Tier 1 to ensure timely resolutions.
- Document issues, resolutions, and procedures in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with Tier 3 engineers to resolve high-priority issues.
- Explain technical solutions clearly to customers.
- Monitor network performance and preempt potential problems.
