Job summary

Rossford Exempted Village School District in Rossford, Ohio is seeking a Sophomore Class Advisor for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a part-time supplemental position with a stipend, and you will mentor sophomores, plan activities, and supervise dances and fundraisers.

You will collaborate with students, staff, and families, maintain records, and ensure compliance with district procedures. This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and strong organizational and communication

Qualifications

• Experience working with high school-aged students preferred.
• Ability to establish positive, appropriate, and professional relationships with students.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and supervise student activities and events.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an advisor, mentor, and positive role model for members of the sophomore class.
• Work collaboratively with class officers and students to plan and coordinate class activities and events.
• Organize and oversee class fundraising activities and guide students in planning successful fundraising efforts.
• Assist students in developing leadership, organization, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise school dances and other class-sponsored activities.
• Attend class meetings and provide ongoing guidance and support to student leaders.
• Work cooperatively with building administration, staff, students, families, and community partners.
• Ensure activities and fundraisers are conducted in accordance with district and building procedures.
• Maintain appropriate records related to class activities and funds.
