Job Description

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Sonography Technologist for the Radiology Department at Hackettstown Medical Center. Department needs a candidate that can work varied shifts, including weekends and on call.

Job Functions:

  • Qualified candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations utilizing state of the art GE equipment & Siemens equipment.
  • Candidate is required to perform general ultrasound, paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsies, small parts, breast, OB, pelvic and vascular exams.
Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Effective communications skills and the ability to work well as a team player
  • Applicant must be comfortable performing exams in an outpatient as well as inpatient and emergency department setting
Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Education:

  • Graduate of Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program

License/Certification:

  • ARDMS required

Relevant Experience:

  • The ideal candidate should have 2+ years' experience preferred

Highly skilled technologists and registered radiology nurses provide additional expertise and support.
