Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Sonography Technologist for the Radiology Department at Overlook Medical Center. The role requires performing diagnostic ultrasound exams with GE and Siemens equipment across outpatient, inpatient, and ED settings.

Minimum education includes a high school diploma and completion of an Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. ARDMS certification is required within 6 months of hire, with 2+ years of experience preferred.

Job Functions:

Qualified candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations utilizing state of the art GE equipment & Siemens equipment.

Candidate is required to perform general ultrasound, paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsies, small parts, breast, OB, pelvic and vascular exams.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Effective communications skills and the ability to work well as a team player

Applicant must be comfortable performing exams in an outpatient as well as inpatient and emergency department setting

Minimum Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Education:

Graduate of Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program

License/Certification:

ARDMS required within 6 months of employment

Relevant Experience:

The ideal candidate should have 2+ years' experience preferred
