Job summary

Pikes Peak State College is seeking a 9-month, full-time Sonography Faculty member to deliver didactic, lab, and clinical instruction at the CHES Campus in Colorado Springs. The role supports educational pathways and prepares graduates for entry-level practice in diagnostic medical sonography.

The position requires ARDMS credentials (AB and OB/GYN), RVT, and a Colorado CTE Teaching Credential. Teaching across campus sites and possible evenings/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an associate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Health Sciences, or related field and a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• ARDMS RDMS (Abdomen and OB/GYN) and RVT credentials are required.
• Colorado State CTE Teaching Credential or eligibility is required.
• Minimum of four years of full-time clinical practice as a diagnostic medical sonographer.

Responsibilities

• Teach didactic, lab, and clinical courses in abdominal, OB/GYN, and vascular sonography.
• Lead instruction using high-end diagnostic ultrasound equipment and state-of-the-art labs.
• Collaborate with clinical partners to ensure student readiness for the workforce.
• Maintain current syllabi and align with program accreditation standards.
