Job summary

Ridgeview Medical Center in Minnesota seeks an experienced ultrasound technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic OB/GYN ultrasound exams in accordance with established procedures.

You will interact professionally with patients and staff, review cases with Radiologist to ensure accuracy of clinical data, maintain equipment, and ensure safety and accuracy across Ridgeview Imaging locations. Join a team committed to patient care and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Sonography.
• RDMS board registered.
• Meet basic requirements for the ACR accreditation.
• CPR Certified.

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for performing high quality and accurate diagnostic ultrasound exams in accordance with established procedures.

Job Functions

• 3. Assists with maintenance of equipment to ensure patient safety and proper working order.
• 4. Reviews cases with Radiologist to ensure accuracy of clinical data obtained.
• 5. Demonstrates room and equipmentcleaning process between patients.
• 6. Performs other duties as assigned.

Employment Requirements

Minimum Education/Work Experience

• Graduate of an accredited school of Sonography
• RDMS board registered
• Meet basic requirements for the ACR accreditation
• CPR Certified

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Knowledge of anatomy and pathology seen on OB/GYN sonograms
• Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions
• Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above
• Ability to serve patients in a friendly and efficient manner
• Strong computer skills and basic Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and diverse patient populations
• Ability to work autonomously and as a team
• Capable of making independent decisions with the use of good critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability and knowledge to complete job functions at all Ridgeview Imaging locations
• Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above

License/Certifications

• RDMS board registered

Preferred Qualifications

• Nuchal Translucency Certification
