Shady Grove Fertility in Washington, DC is seeking a Sonographer to join our team on a part-time basis. The role involves performing detailed ultrasound examinations, documenting results, and providing patient explanations and support.

The ideal candidate has formal ultrasound training from an AMA-approved program, RDMS/RVT certification, and at least two years of women’s health ultrasound experience. You will work with a nationally respected fertility network.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal Ultrasound training in an AMA approved program.
• RDMS/RVT certification is required.
• Minimum of two years’ experience as an ultrasound technologist in women’s health.

Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for an Sonographer to join our team at Shady Grove Fertility in Washington, DC.

• Schedule: Every other Saturday and Sunday, 7:0 AM to 11:00 AM
• Compensation: $40 + per hour (commensurate with experience)

In This Role, The Sonographer Will

• Perform detailed examinations of the anatomy/pathology
• Make necessary measurements & calculations
• Document results utilizing our electronic medical records
• Establish personal rapport with patients
• Provide explanations of procedures

What You’ll Bring

Qualifications And Skills Include

• Completion of formal Ultrasound training in an AMA approved school, and meeting the requirements for registry by ARDMS
• RDMS/RVT required
• Understanding and ability to follow MD protocols for procedures
• Ability to effectively operate all pieces of equipment utilized within the scope of this job
• Prior experience with fertility patients strongly preferred
• Minimum of two years of experience as an ultrasound technologist in women’s health
