Job summary

US Fertility in Houston, TX seeks a Sonographer to join our team. This per diem role focuses on detailed ultrasound examinations, patient rapport, and following MD protocols within a fertility care setting.

The position offers exposure to a national network of fertility centers, with flexible hours and opportunities to grow professionally while delivering compassionate care to patients seeking fertility treatment.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal Ultrasound training in an AMA approved school.
• RDMS/RVT required.
• Understanding and ability to follow MD protocols for procedures.
• Prior fertility patient experience preferred.
• Minimum of two years of ultrasound technologist experience in women’s health.

Responsibilities

• Performs detailed examinations of the anatomy/pathology.
• Makes necessary measurements & calculations.
• Documents results utilizing our electronic medical records.
• Establishes personal rapport with patients.
• Provides explanations of procedures.

Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for an Sonographer to join our team atShady Grove Fertilityin Houston (Medical Center), Texas. This position will float to other offices in Clear Lake, Spring-Woodlands, Katy, Memorial City, and Beaumont, Texas.

• Schedule: Per diem, Monday through Friday as needed; 7:15 AM to 12:00 PM

In this role, the S onographerwill:

• Performs detailed examinations of the anatomy/pathology

Qualifications and Skills Include:

• Completion of formal Ultrasound training in an AMA approved school, and meeting the requirements for registry by ARDMS
• RDMS/RVT required
• Understanding and ability to follow MD protocols for procedures
• Ability to effectively operate all pieces of equipment utilized within the scope of this job
• Prior experience with fertility patients strongly preferred
• Minimum of two years of experience as an ultrasound technologist in women’s health
