Required License/Registration/Certification
Registered Sonographer – RDMS and/or RT at time of hire, Basic Life Support certification via AHA within 90 days of hire
Physical Requirements
Requires heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects over 50 pounds. Also requires repetitive motion tasks.
Shift
Must be able to work two 12.5-hour shifts every Saturday and Sunday (7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.) This position is part of the Weekend Premium Pay ( WEPP ) plan. Will also be required to work some holidays, and call shifts.
Job Summary
This position will provide ultrasound imaging for the Department of Radiology on the Good Samaritan Campus in the emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings. The sonographic exams the person filling this role will need to perform include, but are not limited to: abdominal (including vasculature and transplants), pelvic, 1st trimester OB, small part, and vascular. This person may also assist with US guided procedures. This position requires maintaining current credentials (via ARDMS and/or ARRT and/or CCI ) to ensure compliance with our ACR accreditation.
