Job summary

The University of Kentucky HealthCare seeks a Radiology support professional to assist the Radiology staff at UKHC Good Samaritan Hospital. You will help prepare patients for exams, manage room turnover, answer phones, clean, transport patients, stock supplies, and support patient transfers.

You will also round the department to ensure cleanliness and clear patient communication. Required BLS within 90 days of hire; shift varies with an on-site role at a major university hospital.

Job Summary

This position provides clinical support and patient care functions alongside the Radiology staff at UKHC Good Samaritan Hospital. This employee will assist with facilitating patient throughput in the department by performing functions such as preparing patients for their exam, room turnover, answering phones, cleaning, transporting patients, stocking supplies, interacting with the RIS system, and assisting with patient transfers. This position will also be responsible for rounding throughout the department to ensure cleanliness and appropriate patient communication.
