Job Description: Sonographer

Under the administrative direction of the Ultrasound Operations Manager and the Medical Director of General Ultrasound, the sonographer performs ultrasound procedures independently, demonstrating competence without requiring constant supervision. The sonographer assumes responsibility for designated areas, procedures, and students as assigned.

This position requires effective communication skills and the ability to build rapport with others. Organizational skills are essential to work efficiently and independently.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of one year of experience as a sonographer (preferred).
2. Successful completion of a formal Ultrasound Training program.
3. Registration by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS):
   ARDMS: RDMS (ABD; OB)
