Job summary

MEP Health is seeking a Sonographer to perform a range of ultrasound procedures including abdominal, obstetrical, small parts, and vascular studies in a hospital setting. You will ensure imaging equipment is ready, perform examinations independently, and document procedures accurately.

On-call, portable, or site-specific studies may be required. Preferred candidates hold an RDMS or equivalent certification, an associate degree or trade school credential, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or trade school certification required.
  • RDMS or equivalent certification required.
  • CPR certification preferred; RDCS or equivalent credential is a plus.

Job description

Role Overview

The Sonographer performs ultrasound imaging, including abdominal, small parts, obstetrical, and vascular studies, to assist in diagnosis and treatment for adult and pediatric patients. The role involves ensuring equipment readiness, conducting examinations independently, and documenting procedures accurately. May perform on-call, portable, and site-specific studies as needed.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Associate degree or Trade School certification
  • RDMS or equivalent certification

Preferred: <2 years of experience, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, RDCS or equivalent
