Individual performs diagnostic ultrasound and NIVA procedures, operates ultrasound equipment, and prepares the room with the necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure. Positively reflects concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, physicians, and other hospital personnel supporting the Mission, Vision, and Values of the company. Is able to provide care to his/her assigned patients and assures a safe patient care environment. Maintains technical skills and is responsible for the use of equipment to minimize hazards and maximize patient safety. Secondary duties include clerical duties, receptionist, answering phones, scheduling patients, ordering supplies, stocking the department, maintaining files and general cleaning. Assists in collecting data for PI monitors and conducting QC on equipment.
