Job summary

TridentCare is hiring a Mobile Sonographer in Pittsburgh, PA. The role involves performing ultrasounds at multiple facilities, transporting portable equipment, and delivering images to radiologists for interpretation. Shift schedules are flexible, with weekend and holiday rotation.

Requirements include completion of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program, ARDMS/CCI/ARRT certification, and Echo registry. TB tests, vaccinations, and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Completion of Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
• ARDMS, CCI, or ARRT certification.
• Registry required: Echo.
• Annual TB screens, physicals, and vaccinations, as required.
• Valid driver's license, in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Perform and process ultrasounds, sending them digitally to radiologists for interpretation.
• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment at various facilities to perform exams ordered by physicians.
• Obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent sonography images.
• Scan exam-related paperwork and billing each day per protocol.
• Maintain regular attendance and uphold professional communication with peers, leadership, and clients.
• Ensure the maintenance of your vehicle and sonography equipment.
• Keep the required state licenses, certifications, health requirements, and operational standards up to date.

Shift : Flexible Shifts-Monday-Friday with weekend and holiday rotation

Pay : $35 hourly depending on registries and experience

Registries Required : gen/vasc or echo/vasc- ARDMS, CCI, or ARRT
