Job summary

TridentCare, the nation’s leading mobile imaging provider, seeks a dedicated ultrasound technologist to deliver high-quality exams across client sites. You will operate portable equipment, ensure safety, and communicate findings to radiologists.

The role emphasizes flexible hours and independence, with registries in Echo/Vascular (triple modality a plus) and full-time employment. Training and PPE are provided for field work.

Qualifications

• Proficient in performing mobile ultrasound studies and transmitting images to radiologists.
• Registries in Echo/Vascular are a plus; triple modality preferred.
• Excellent communication with patients and clinicians; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide mobile ultrasound services to clients within designated service area.
• Drive company vehicle to patient locations; ensure equipment readiness and safety.
• Perform quality ultrasound studies and transmit images to radiologists for interpretation.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and scheduling of maintenance; document timesheets and activities.
• Support other service areas and participate in team meetings.

Position: Full-time with registries in Echo/Vascular (Triple modality is a plus!)

Our sonographers provide care to our patients, wherever they call home. Our ultrasound techs are provided with all needed resources, including vehicle and gas card, portable ultrasound machine and equipment, PPE, scrubs, etc...

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Interact with patients compassionately and professionally by driving company vehicle to each patient, within designated service area
• Perform quality ultrasound studies to transmit to radiologist for interpretation
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and maintenance schedule
• Assist in other service areas, as needed
• Submit accurate and timely timesheets, as per protocol
• Other duties, as needed:
• Scanning, filing, faxing, photocopying, mailing
• Attend and participate in meetings
• Train other technologists
• Perform special projects or other duties, as assigned

Skills:

• Basic computer knowledge
• Basic ability to use mobile device and apps
• Flexibility to adjust to changes and process improvements
• Ability to work independently
• Professional communication skills, both written and oral
• Good driving skills

Requirements:

• Vascular and Echo Registries (triple modality is a plus!)
• Annual TB screens, physicals, and vaccinations, as required
• Valid driver's license, in good standing
