Job summary
Gunnison Valley Health is seeking a skilled sonographer to join a small, specialized diagnostic imaging team in Gunnison, Colorado. You will assess and treat patients across ages, participate in continuous quality improvements, and help maintain RDMS/ACR standards while contributing to a supportive, learning-focused workplace.

Qualifications
- Education: Graduate from an accredited program in ultrasonic technology/sonography.
- Experience: Minimum two years as a sonographer.
- Licenses/Certification: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS). Maintenance of CPR/BLS.
Responsibilities
- Establish continuous quality improvement standards in the department.
- Perform thorough patient evaluation using RDMS and ACR standards appropriate to patient care.
- Communicate with patients, families and physicians and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
- Assist in the orientation and training of new clinical staff to familiarize them with administration of modalities and equipment.
