Role Purpose
The Registered Diagnostic Sonographer performs ultrasound imaging, including but not limited to abdominal, small parts, and obstetrical, for adult and/or pediatric patients to aid in diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomical and physiological disorders. The role also involves assisting with needle procedures such as biopsies, drainages, and needle placements, and may include vascular imaging.
