  • 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday
  • No Call! No Weekends!
  • Potential Sonography Differential on top of base rate
  • Barnes Jewish Hospital Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology
  • RDMS or equivalent
  • $5000 Sign-On Bonus

Overview

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

The Registered Diagnostic Sonographer performs ultrasound imaging, including but not limited to abdominal, small parts, and obstetrical, for adult and/or pediatric patients to aid in diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomical and physiological disorders. The role also involves assisting with needle procedures such as biopsies, drainages, and needle placements, and may include vascular imaging.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper function and readiness of all equipment.
  • Perform ultrasound imaging examinations and document procedures accurately.
  • Conduct studies independently; may perform on-call, portable exams, and work at various sites as required.

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • Associate degree or Trade School equivalent

Experience

  • No experience required

Licenses & Certifications

  • RDMS or equivalent

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience is a plus but not required
  • CPR certification
  • RDCS or equivalent
