Responsibilities
  • Perform quality echocardiograms, stress echoes, and vascular studies.
  • Report interpretations to physicians upon completion.
  • Work with general supervision, structuring your work patterns, and referring unusual situations to physicians or supervisors.
  • Travel to rural locations may be required.
Essential Functions
  • Perform echocardiograms, vascular studies, and stress echoes as directed.
  • Assist in patient preparation and scheduling.
  • Maintain equipment and complete paperwork accurately.
  • Prepare rooms and ensure cleanliness and stock levels.
  • Transport portable ultrasound equipment as needed.
  • Review patient charts for completeness.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an approved Ultrasound school.
  • Current ARDMS or CCI certification, or eligible with passing within one year.
  • BLS certification.
  • Experience in echo and vascular imaging preferred.
  • Ability to manipulate ultrasound equipment and detect pathology.
  • Capable of sending high-quality exams to PACS and completing studies in Cerner system.
