AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to produce high-quality diagnostic ultrasound images and assist physicians in procedures. The role requires positioning patients, maintaining department standards, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Requirements include an Associate's degree or technical/vocational training, 1+ year of related experience, RVT/RVS, and BLS certification. Full-time daytime schedule with benefits and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality diagnostic ultrasound images using proper equipment techniques and technical factors.

• Positions and transfers patients for exams.
• Maintains adequate records per department and hospital policies.
• Assists physicians in performing invasive procedures, ensuring proper lab work and specimen delivery.

Job Description:

• Produces quality diagnostic ultrasound images using proper equipment techniques and technical factors.
• Performs all ultrasound procedures according to department policies.

• Positions and transfers patients for exams.
• Maintains adequate records per department and hospital policies.

• Incorporates patient, physician, and customer needs and concerns into decision-making and organizational actions.
• Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of the Ultrasound Department and secures and restocks supplies as necessary.
• Attends a minimum of 50% of scheduled department meetings and obtains information from missed meetings. Follows AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, and Thank) at all times.
• Maintains ethical, professional relationships and follow the "Standard of Behavior" guidelines per hospital policy. Other duties as assigned.
