Job summary

Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport, MA is seeking a Sonographer to join our imaging team supporting outpatient, inpatient, and ED patients. Under the supervision of the Ultrasound Supervisor and Radiologist, you will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams and assist with special ultrasound procedures.

The role requires RDMS certification or eligibility, BLS, and at least 1 year of experience (training provided for new graduates).

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience preferred but will train a new graduate.
• RDMS certified or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams for inpatients, outpatients and ED patients.
• Includes abdominal, pelvic, obstetrical, vascular, breast and other small parts evaluations.
• Assists with specialty procedures such as fine needle aspirations, breast core biopsies, and wire localization (training available).
