IHA in New Hampton, IA is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to perform comprehensive ultrasound examinations, document findings, and support ultrasound‑guided procedures. The role emphasizes adherence to mission and clinical standards, with a Monday–Friday day shift and flexible hours based on volumes.
Qualified candidates will have completed an accredited Sonography program and hold ARDMS registration or be eligible within one year of hire, with continued training in essential protocols
Full time
Monday through Friday Day shift. No holidays, weekends, or call. Tentative hours are 8am -3pm but can be flexible pending volumes.
Successful completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program is preferred, or completion of a two-year allied health program, or a bachelor’s degree.
Completion of the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Mandatory Reporter training
for Child and Dependent Adult Abuse within three (3) months of hire Basic Life Support (BLS) certified within six (6) weeks of hire
