Job summary

Language Services Associates, Inc. seeks US-based Soninke interpreters for our remote video interpretation service line. As members of LSA’s network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, you will facilitate communication for LEP communities in medical, legal, and customer service settings.

LSA emphasizes professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to industry best practices. You will complete training and participate in ongoing quality assurance to ensure accurate and respectful

Qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and Soninke.
• Ability to adhere to professional standards and confidentiality.
• Ability to provide a high level of client service.
• Industry certifications (CMI, CCHI) preferred.

Job description

Overview : Language Services Associates is looking for US based Soninke interpreters for our remote video interpretation service line. As a member of LSA’s network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, you will be responsible for facilitating language communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community in a variety of settings, including medical, legal, and customer service. LSA is continuously accepting qualified interpreters for a wide range of interpreting assignments!

Responsibilities :

• Provide superior customer service
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices
• Complete training(s) and participate in ongoing Quality Assurance monitoring

Qualifications/Experience :

• Full fluency in both English and Soninke
• Familiarity with and the ability to comply with industry standard best practices (i.e. professionalism, courtesy, protocol and confidentiality)
• The ability to provide a high level of client service
• Industry specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.)
• A computer or tablet device with front facing camera
