Job summary

SD Fusion LLC operates a Sonic Drive-In in Council Bluffs, IA. The Kitchen Team Member role focuses on preparing and cooking food to Sonic standards in a fast-paced setting, while supporting a fun team environment.

No prior experience is required—we train. You’ll work with carhops and front-of-house staff, maintain cleanliness and safety, and help ensure every order is fresh and on-brand. Flexible scheduling and a team-first culture help you grow with us.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Able to work in fast-paced, high-volume quick-service environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-first attitude.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25–50 lbs.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must meet minimum age requirements per local labor laws.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food orders accurately and efficiently according to Sonic's recipes and standards
• Operate kitchen equipment including grills, fryers, and prep stations safely
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen workspace at all times
• Monitor food quality and freshness to ensure every order meets brand standards
• Work collaboratively with carhops and front-of-house team members to fulfill orders quickly
• Restock ingredients and supplies as needed during shifts
• Follow all food safety, health, and safety guidelines consistently
