Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT, seeks a SONAR Systems Engineer to support development, integration, testing and fleet support of SONAR arrays and sensors for submarine classes. The role involves collaboration with NAVSEA, laboratories, vendors and EB departments across concept through post-delivery stages.

The ideal candidate will have a BS, 0–5 years of post-graduate experience and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering obtained by May 2027
• 0-5 years of post-graduate engineering experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance through the Department of Defense

Responsibilities

• Ability to lead engineering tasks/projects
