Job summary

French Consulting seeks a board-eligible or board-certified Sleep Medicine Physician (Somnologist) for the Intrepid Spirit Center at Fort Bragg, NC. Immediate start, full-time, Monday–Friday, with a focus on comprehensive sleep care for service members and families.

You will examine patients, order and interpret sleep studies, and provide treatments including CPAP/bi-level therapy, medications, and behavioral approaches. Collaboration with neurology, psychiatry, and rehab teams is essential.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited U.S. or Canadian medical school
• ECFMG certification or USMLE for foreign graduates
• Board eligible or board certified in Sleep Medicine
• Current, valid unrestricted license as Somnologist in a U.S. state/DC/PR/territory
• ACGME or AOA internship and residency; 1+ year post-degree
• Fellowship in sleep medicine preferred

Responsibilities

• Examine patients and diagnose sleep and breathing disorders of moderate to severe complexity
• Order, interpret and evaluate tests for sleep diseases
• Prescribe CPAP, BiPAP, oxygen, medications, and behavioral therapies
• Interpret polysomnography and other sleep studies
• Educate and supervise interdisciplinary teams and learners
• Document notes in MHS Genesis and respond to secure portal messages
• Provide prescription renewals and telephone consultations as needed
