Welcome to Steakhouse at Hotel Bourre Bonne — a cutting-edge, high-volume luxury dining destination inside Louisville’s most talked-about new hotel. We’re looking for a Sommelier / Beverage Leader to take the reins of our beverage program and elevate it to iconic status. This is a unique opportunity to build, create, and own one of the most exciting wine & spirits programs in the region — right from the start.

- Collaborative, creative leadership — you’ll work hand-in-hand with the Food & Beverage Director and Restaurant GM,and meet directly with distributors.
- Build from the ground up — this is a brand-new restaurant. You’ll shape processes, systems, and standards from scratch.
What You’ll Do
- Drive beverage sales on the floor every night — Be a strong leadership presence especially on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights
- Curate and manage wine & cocktail lists for the steakhouse and rooftop bars in cooperation with the Director of Food & Beverage and Steakhouse General Manager.
- Lead tastings and activations featuring wine, spirits, and beer
- Train and inspire a fantastic front-of-house team with regular education sessions
- Own organization of back bar, cellar, and liquor storage areas
- Maintain inventory and draft weekly orders for leadership approval
- Represent the brand with vendors, reps, and distributor partners
You Might Be the One If You Are…
- A proven seller in a fast-paced, high-end environment
- Certified Sommelier or Bourbon Steward? Great — but not required
- A natural leader with a deep love for wine, spirits, and storytelling
- Open to evolving responsibilities — we’re flexible for the right candidate and we need to you to be flexible as the hotel "ages" too.
