Description

A.T. Still University's School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona (ATSU-SOMA) is seeking a full-time non-exempt Regional Education Coordinator. The Coordinator will provide administrative support to ensure all student requirements at clinical region sites are completed. This role collaborates closely with the Clinical Education team to meet departmental goals and objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate OMS II Orientation and Onboarding for students and community partners.
  2. Proctor in-person OMS II exams, ensuring testing site compliance, including accommodations.
  3. Set up OMS II Clinical and Inter-Professional Experiences for Medical Skills requirements.
  4. Coordinate standardized patients for OMS II OSCE.
  5. Manage onboarding for all clinical sites, including documentation and approvals.
  6. Work with hospital education departments to ensure students meet credentialing and health requirements, and have EMR access.
  7. Facilitate POR designations and gather related information.
  8. Maintain up-to-date health requirements for clinical sites.
  9. Familiarize with platforms like VSLO, Clinician Nexus, and MCE for onboarding and confirmation.
  10. Assist with forms and platform applications, including fee processing and documentation.
  11. Update and manage OMS III and IV scheduling grids, ensuring compliance with requirements.
  12. Collaborate with RDMEs to recruit preceptors and provide rotation materials.
  13. Ensure clinical site agreements are active and current.
  14. Ensure timely submission of CREs and SERs.
  15. Run weekly CRE reports from eValue.
  16. Coordinate out-of-catchment rotations and manage related onboarding and payments.
  17. Proctor NBOME COMAT Exams, including retakes.
  18. Provide site data for accreditation and reporting as needed.
  19. Assist credentialing with preceptor CVs and faculty applications.
  20. Complete and utilize ATSU RAVE Alert and FERPA training, monitoring for violations.
  21. Attend monthly and weekly departmental meetings.
  22. Review and adhere to the CE Manual, Student Handbook, and Course Catalog.
  23. Complete required university trainings and evaluations.
  24. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma + one year of technical training or schooling.
  • 1-2 years of related experience.
  • Proficiency with Zoom, Microsoft Office, Google Docs/Forms, Adobe.
  • Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail, flexibility, and adaptability.
  • Technology proficiency and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team.

The starting hourly range for this position is $18.67 to $26.98, depending on experience and location.
