Mid to Senior Level (Management)
Position Objective:
The Sales Lead supports management in fostering a customer and product-focused sales culture, emphasizing our values and principles to enhance customer experience and profitability. We are passionate about our work and committed to creating an inspiring environment for growth and learning.
Functional Responsibilities:
- Drive for Results:
- Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable for achieving brand standards, performance, and behavior.
- Oversee operational activities including opening, closing, and merchandise flow.
- Supervise sales associates, manage schedules, and ensure proper store coverage.
- Maintain standards in merchandise presentation, loss prevention, and other duties assigned by management.
- Develop a high-performance team, motivate sales goals, and meet personal sales targets.
- Train and coach staff on product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Build High Performing Teams:
- Motivate and inspire the team, promoting shared vision and core values.
- Encourage collaboration and inclusive problem-solving.
- Communicate effectively with the team and management to lead positive change.
- Seek personal development opportunities and feedback to enhance leadership skills.
- Customer Experience:
- Promote and model the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles, ensuring a seamless omni-channel experience.
- Utilize sales techniques and product knowledge to assist customers.
- Build customer loyalty through clienteling and wardrobing.
- Address customer concerns promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure quick and accurate checkout processes, adhering to policies.
- Maintain ongoing communication with customers via loyalty programs and follow-ups.
- Talent Development:
- Support and implement training programs and seminars.
- Assist in developing store staff, analyzing KPIs, and providing coaching.
- Recognize and reward outstanding employee performance.
- Ensure compliance with employment policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year retail or sales management experience preferred.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to learn and adapt to company technology.
- Knowledge of store operations and organizational skills.
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Walking/Standing for 67-100% of shift.
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent climbing (34%-66% of shift).
