Job summary

Full-time faculty position in the Division of Diagnostic Radiology, Section of Breast Imaging at the School of Medicine MBU, Radiology Department. Duties & Responsibilities:

Full-time faculty position in the Division of Diagnostic Radiology,Section of Breast Imaging to provide specialized breast imaginginterpretation including mammography (2D and 3D), US, MR andinterventional procedures with state-of-the‑art equipment. We workcollaboratively with Massey Cancer Center in advancing awareness,diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer.

Position Responsibilities:

• Clinical – Provide high quality, sub-specialized imaginginterpretations for assigned modalities in support of the referringphysicians and patients of VCUHS
• Teaching – Provide training to medical students, residents andfellows, who rotate through the Department of Radiology.
• Research - Maintain professional relationships established withthe VCU Massey Cancer Center to foster interdisciplinaryresearch.
• Service – Time and effort is expected to be devoted to academicservice-related activities. This shall include college, school, anddepartmental committee work, professional growth, and other suchassignments.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment ofrespect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty,staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or acommitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU
• Must be ABR certified/documentation of passing the Core Componentof the ABR Board examination
• Must be breast imaging fellowship trained
• Candidate must be eligible for a Virginia medical license and forpermanent employment in the USA.
