Job summary

Teleport is seeking a senior Pre-sales Engineer in the United States to partner with account teams, architect demos and PoCs, and map Teleport's capabilities to customer initiatives. You will advise security leaders, collaborate on GTM content, and help accelerate adoption of identity security and zero trust across AI workloads. Experience with Linux, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and CI/CD is required; strong presentation and stakeholder engagement are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, solutions architecture, DevSecOps, or a highly technical customer-facing role.
• Experience using, configuring, and debugging Linux machines and network issues.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes, including hands-on troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of at least one cloud computing platform.
• Strong knowledge of DevSecOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure security at scale, including source control, code reviews, unit testing, and agile principles.
• Advanced understanding of identity security and modern Zero Trust approaches.
• Ability to develop scripts and automation using Linux shell, Go, and Infrastructure as Code tools.
