Job summary

EOG Resources is seeking a Solutions Engineer to collaborate with internal customers and cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions for Economics and Planning applications. The role involves coordinating projects, planning testing and deployment, and deploying applications across divisions.

The ideal candidate has a relevant degree and 3+ years of related experience, with strong communication and coordination skills to manage multiple projects with vendors and IT teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Eng, Economics, CS or EE; HS diploma required.
• 3+ years related experience.

Responsibilities

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent preferred. High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years related experience.
• Understanding of petroleum operations in an Exploration and Production environment preferred.
• Technical skills to create prototypes to solve business problems.
• Must have excellent communication, presentation, coordination and organizational skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects that involve dealing with vendors, division personnel and IT Team.
• Travel to division offices as needed (20-50%)

Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
