Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Cloud & DevOps Solutions Engineer to design and manage CI/CD pipelines, develop Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, and ensure system compliance and security across AWS and Azure.

The role involves automating processes, analyzing production issues, and collaborating with development teams to implement new features while following best practices in software development.

Qualifications

• Completed bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in cloud computing.
• 1–3 years of experience in a similar role.
• 1–3 years of Azure experience preferred.
• Knowledge of NVIDIA AI platform a big plus.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Cloud & DevOps Solutions Engineer is responsible for designing and managing CI/CD pipelines, developing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, and ensuring system compliance and security. This role involves automating processes to improve development efficiency, conducting root cause analysis for production issues, and integrating AWS and Azure services into existing infrastructure. The Cloud & DevOps Solutions Engineer will collaborate with development teams to implement new features while ensuring adherence to best practices in software development.

Role Description

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines.




• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.




• Monitor system performance and manage source code, ensuring operations reports are accurate.

Skill Level Requirements

• Knowledge of Azure Cloud Platforms and associated services




• Expertise in various project management frameworks such as Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum to effectively plan, execute, and close projects - Basic




• Hands-on experience with any flavor of Kubernetes




• Knowledge of network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, VPN, VLANs), understanding of security concepts (access control, authentication, encryption), and proficiency in managing network threats and security solutions (intrusion detection systems, firewalls, Anti-DDOS Protection, Threat Management Protection, Content Filtering, Ingress/Egress management) - Basic




• Ability to utilize version control systems such as GitHub and Azure DevOps effectively - Basic




• Competence in managing and maintaining Active Directory, AWS, VMware, and Windows Server platforms - Basic




• Ability to effectively utilize tools such as Jenkins, Groovy, Terraform, Splunk, Git and/or SonarSource for development and operational processes - Basic




• Ability to design, develop, and integrate APIs to enable seamless communication between software applications and services - Basic




• Knowledge with observability tools like Grafana.

Other Requirements

• Completed bachelor's degree or relevant work experience required

The estimated annual pay range for this position is $90,000 - $145,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
