Job summary

Selector is building an operational intelligence platform for digital infrastructure. We are hiring a software engineering associate to learn our analytics solution, assist in deployment, and help customers leverage data to meet their objectives.

We seek 0–3 years, CS degree, Python basics, Docker/Kubernetes, cloud familiarity (AWS/GCP/Azure), and strong communication. Join a fast-paced, collaborative team in Santa Clara with discretionary PTO, health insurance, 401k, and potential for a bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 0–3 years of professional experience in a technical/engineering role.
• Foundational Python; exposure to Ansible or Go is a plus.
• Basic familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
• Basic understanding of SQL; familiarity with Jupyter notebooks is a plus.
• Strong communication skills for a customer-facing environment.
• General awareness of networking concepts (Data Center, WAN, DNS/DHCP).
• Eagerness to learn, self-starter attitude in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Learn and develop technical expertise on Selector's analytics solution for networks, apps, and security workflows.
• Support integration and deployment of Selector's platform to meet customer requirements with senior engineers.
• Assist in deploying Selector's solution at customer sites and understand data, workflows, analytics needs.
• Help ensure customers are enabled for use and self-serve extensions of Selector's capabilities.
• Support pre-sales activities with sales team and senior engineers.
• Contribute to PoC plan design and execution under guidance of senior team members.
• Document customer feedback and assist with product improvement proposals.
