Job summary

Remotely is hiring for a technical role focused on customer engagement and support in expanding the adoption of Algolia. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in customer-facing technical roles, with skills in both front-end technologies like React and JavaScript, as well as back-end languages such as Java and Python.

This position offers flexible workplace options (remote or hybrid) and aims to leverage customer insights to enhance product offerings and facilitate onboarding.

• Proficiency in front-end frameworks: React, TypeScript, JavaScript.
• Experience with back-end technologies including Java, Ruby, Go, Node, Python.

• Work with Sales and prospects on evaluation and adoption of Algolia.
• Assist in technical discovery, demos, POC, and RFP responses.
• Coordinate with Solution Architects and Customer Success for onboarding.

• Work with Sales and prospects on evaluation and adoption of Algolia
• Understand customer goals and how Algolia solves them
• Assist in technical discovery, demos, POC, and RFP responses
• Leverage Algolia tools, frameworks, and partners to validate fit
• Distill customer needs to Product and Engineering teams
• Learn and update skills; track industry trends in Search
• Coordinate with Solution Architects and Customer Success for onboarding

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in a customer-facing technical role (SE/SA/consultant/PM)
• Front-end: React, TypeScript, JavaScript
• Back-end: Java, Ruby, Go, Node, Python, Swift/Objective-C
• Experience with data formats and data transformation
• Excellent oral and written communication; strong multi-customer organization
• Experience at SaaS growth stage (ARR around $150-300M)
