Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Solutions Engineer to act as a trusted security advisor across pre-sales and post-sale engagements. You will help customers design and implement cybersecurity and compliance solutions, translating complex capabilities into clear business value for enterprise clients.

Remote US-based role with no visa sponsorship. Responsibilities include technical demonstrations, framework design with executives, and post-sale optimization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in pre-sales or solution architecture for cybersecurity.
• Hands-on Email Security including phishing defense and DMARC/DKIM/SPF.
• Familiarity with IAM and MFA concepts.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, PCI-DSS, NIST, and CMMC.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure and vulnerability tools.
• Understanding MSP delivery and SOC workflows.
• Excellent communication translating tech into business value.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert for the company’s security offerings.
• Conduct discovery sessions and customized product demonstrations.
• Design security and compliance frameworks with Account Executives.
• Advise on aligning security with regulatory requirements.

For our client, we are seeking a Solutions Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.

This role will serve as a trusted technical advisor across pre-sales and post-sale engagement, helping customers design and implement effective cybersecurity and compliance solutions. The position will partner closely with account teams and internal stakeholders to translate complex security capabilities into clear business value for enterprise clients. It will also gather customer feedback and help shape future product enhancements that improve security outcomes and service delivery.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert for the company's security offerings
• Conduct in-depth technical discovery sessions and customized product demonstrations
• Design tailored security and compliance frameworks in partnership with Account Executives
• Advise clients on aligning security practices with regulatory frameworks
• Provide post-sale technical consulting and security optimization guidance
• Collaborate with Product Management to share customer feedback and inform feature enhancements

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in pre-sales or technical solution architecture for cybersecurity or managed security solutions
• Hands‑on expertise in Email Security, including phishing defense and DMARC/DKIM/SPF
• Solid understanding of user security methods such as IAM and MFA
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, PCI‑DSS, NIST, and CMMC
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure and vulnerability assessment tools
• Understanding of MSP service delivery models and SOC workflows
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value
