Job summary

Koch is seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer to design, build, deploy, and support AI, automation, and data solutions for the Legal and Compliance Tech & Transformation team. This hands-on role partners with product, engineering, and compliance stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable, value-delivering technical solutions.

The position requires in-office presence with Plano, TX location and does not sponsor visa.

Koch Technology is looking for a Technical Solutions Engineer to support the Legal and Compliance Tech and Transformation Team. In this role, you will help build and scale AI, automation, and data solutions that enable Compliance business processes, risk management, and data-driven decision making across Koch companies. This is a hands-on builder role focused on designing, integrating, testing, deploying, and supporting enterprise technology solutions that deliver measurable business value. You will partner closely with Compliance stakeholders, product leaders, engineers, and platform teams to solve meaningful business problems and accelerate the adoption of innovative technology.

Our Team

The Legal and Compliance Tech & Transformation team within Koch Technology supports a portfolio of enterprise applications and technologies that enable Compliance capabilities across Koch. Our team works collaboratively with business partners to identify opportunities, modernize platforms, leverage AI, and create scalable solutions that improve business outcomes. We focus on delivering practical technology that empowers users, reduces operational friction, and supports responsible growth.

Location: This role can be located in Wichita, KS / Atlanta, GA / Plano, TX and requires an in-office presence with flexibility.

What You Will Do

• Design, build, deploy, and support AI, automation, data, and software solutions that improve compliance business outcomes.
• Develop AI-powered capabilities including agents, APIs, integrations, workflow automation, and data solutions aligned to business needs.
• Create scalable and reliable technical architectures, ensuring alignment with security, privacy, governance, and responsible AI standards.
• Partner with product leaders, engineers, and Compliance stakeholders to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Validate and optimize solutions to drive user adoption, measurable value, and continuous improvement.
• Build data pipelines, reporting capabilities, and system integrations that enable trusted, data-driven decision making.
• Advance Compliance technology initiatives, including AI enablement, platform modernization, regulatory data management, and workflow transformation.
• Contribute technical leadership by sharing knowledge, mentoring others, and establishing reusable solution patterns.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience building and deploying enterprise solutions in at least one of the following areas: AI, automation, data, or software development. Relevant experience may include APIs, integrations, testing, production support, or AI-assisted development tools.
• Experience designing scalable, reliable technology solutions and evaluating tradeoffs involving quality, complexity, security, privacy, governance, and risk
• Strong business analysis and process improvement skills with the ability to translate business workflows into technical requirements
• Experience gathering requirements, framing problems, and communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across business and technology teams
• Experience influencing, mentoring, and providing technical leadership without direct authority

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience owning AI, agent-based, or automation solutions from prototype through production deployment, adoption, and ongoing performance monitoring
• Familiarity with enterprise AI and agent platforms such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, AWS Bedrock, ServiceNow Now Assist, Salesforce Agentforce, or similar technologies
• Experience building data and cloud solutions using platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Programming experience with languages such as SQL, Python, or C++, including the responsible use of AI-assisted development tools
• Experience working with compliance, workflow, or enterprise platforms including Enablon, EQS, Harvey, ServiceNow, or similar technologies
• Experience supporting compliance, legal, environmental health and safety (EHS), trade compliance, or other regulated business functions
• Experience working in a highly collaborative, business-embedded technology delivery model
