Job description

Heartflow is a medical technology company advancing the diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease, the #1 cause of death worldwide, using cutting-edge technology. The flagship product - an AI-driven, non-invasive cardiac test supported by the ACC/AHA Chest Pain Guidelines called the Heartflow FFRCT Analysis - provides a color-coded, 3D model of a patient's coronary arteries indicating the impact blockages have on blood flow to the heart. Heartflow is the first AI-driven non-invasive integrated heart care solution across the CCTA pathway that helps clinicians identify stenoses in the coronary arteries (RoadMapAnalysis), assess coronary blood flow (FFRCT Analysis), and characterize and quantify coronary atherosclerosis (Plaque Analysis). Our pipeline of products is growing and so is our team; join us in helping to revolutionize precision heartcare.

Heartflow is a publicly traded company (HTFL) that has received international recognition for exceptional strides in healthcare innovation, is supported by medical societies around the world, cleared for use in the US, UK, Europe, Japan and Canada, and has been used for more than 750,000 patients worldwide.

The Solutions Engineer will be responsible for guiding customers through the process of implementing Heartflow’s solutions in their hospital/clinical environment. This person will need a deep understanding of hospital networks, protocols and interfaces, as well as the risks and concerns related to patient privacy and data protection.

The Solutions Engineer will work with clinical and engineering resources onsite to deploy solutions that work within the existing infrastructure and workflow, and overcome technical, procedural and political obstacles that arise. Once solutions are implemented, the Solutions Engineer collaborates with the Support and the Technology teams in investigation and resolution of customer issues. As the customer-facing engineering team, we are at the sharp end.

The Solutions Engineer is also responsible for collaborating closely with Heartflow’s engineering, security and regulatory teams to influence the roadmap of future technical solutions. Information on feature requests, workarounds, undiscovered bugs and the varied infrastructures of different institutions are vital to Heartflow’s customer centric focus.

This is a work from home position with up to 80% travel.
