Prime Health Services in Franklin, TN is seeking a Solutions Engineer to design, develop, and implement cloud-based and web-based applications in a Microsoft stack. You will deliver moderately complex features, test thoroughly, and ensure alignment with business requirements.

In this in-office role you will collaborate across teams, maintain CI/CD pipelines, review code, and leverage AI-assisted tools with rigorous reviews to ensure quality and security.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or software certification required, or 2+ years of dev experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement applications based on business requirements.
• Test solutions for functionality and identify and correct errors.
• Ensure business requirements and performance and security expectations are met.
• Optimize existing code and develop new features.
• Provide support and technical advice to less-experienced Solutions Engineers.
• Review pull requests and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain and update application CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage bug reports and user issues through the organization’s ticketing system.
• Use approved AI-assisted tools for code completion, test generation, analysis, and documentation to improve productivity and quality.
• Validate AI-generated outputs through code review, testing, security review, and comparison with business requirements before use.
• Document material AI-assisted changes when required by team development standards and seek guidance when outputs or risks are unclear.
• Use only approved data and context sources and remain accountable for final work products.

*IN-OFFICE POSITION*

This position supports existing web applications and feature enhancements for new applications for internal and external clients. The role works collaboratively to create, improve, and maintain cloud-based and web-based custom applications in a primarily Microsoft environment and works independently on more challenging work items.

The Solutions Engineer independently delivers moderately complex features and services within established architecture and development standards and remains accountable for final code, testing, documentation, and business alignment.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Information Technology or a related field from an accredited college or university, a software certification specific to full-stack web development, or a minimum of two years of direct front-end and back-end development experience, preferably in a healthcare-related organization.
• Strong working knowledge of web solutions engineering and software design, including microservices architecture, data modeling, and user-interface design.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft .NET Framework and related Microsoft development technologies, unit-testing techniques, and application knowledge in assigned product domains.
• Demonstrated ability to independently deliver moderately complex features and services within established architecture and development standards.
• Working knowledge of secure use, validation, and limitations of approved AI-assisted development tools.

Preferred Qualifications (working knowledge of the following)

• Front End: React, TypeScript, jQuery, ASP.NET MVC, Bootstrap, Azure Web Services.
• Back End: C#, Python, MS SQL, REST API development, Microsoft Azure services
• Knowledge of healthcare billing, X12.837 structured documents and healthcare technology integrations.
