Job summary

Jendamark USA seeks an experienced Solutions Engineer to support sales cycles for manufacturing execution, traceability, maintenance, and automation improvements. You will collaborate with Account Executives, analyze production processes, and translate technical capabilities into measurable business outcomes.

You will travel domestically and internationally to support opportunities, pilot deployments, and customer workshops, contributing to Industry 4.0 initiatives across automotive and discrete

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–7 years in solution engineering, sales engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, controls engineering, automation, or related customer-facing roles.
  • Experience in manufacturing operations, assembly systems, automated production environments, industrial software, or Industry 4.0 initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of Industrial Engineering principles including takt time, cycle time, throughput, capacity, OEE, line balancing, WIP, and theory of constraints.
  • Experience identifying bottlenecks and providing data-driven recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and operations.
  • Experience supporting MES, IIoT, traceability, CMMS, machine monitoring, or automation systems.
  • Working knowledge of PLC control systems, industrial networking, HMI platforms, robotics, machine vision, and automated assembly equipment.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, process flow diagrams, and related technical docs.
  • Experience supporting pilot projects, PoC activities, equipment commissioning, validation, or implementation projects.
  • Understanding of manufacturing quality systems, compliance, traceability, error-proofing, and audit requirements.
  • Experience collaborating with Process/Manufacturing/Quality Engineers, Maintenance Teams, Production Supervisors, and Plant Leadership.
  • Strong technical presentation, communication, and customer engagement skills.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Account Executives to identify customer requirements and qualify opportunities.
  • Conduct discovery sessions to understand processes, challenges, objectives, and technical requirements.
  • Analyze production workflows, cycle times, takt times, bottlenecks, and constraints to identify improvements.
  • Deliver technical demonstrations, presentations, PoC activities, and pilot deployments.
  • Translate customer requirements into practical solution architectures and implementation strategies.
  • Develop ROI models quantifying improvements in productivity, throughput, quality, traceability, maintenance, and performance.
  • Assist customers in identifying hidden losses related to waiting times, micro-stops, and manual processes.
  • Support customers evaluating MES, traceability, maintenance, workforce guidance, and condition monitoring solutions.
  • Work with engineering, software, automation, and implementation teams to ensure requirements are met.
  • Support implementation planning, system validation, commissioning activities, and customer acceptance.
  • Identify technical risks and help develop mitigation plans during planning and execution.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of manufacturing technologies and Industry 4.0 trends.
  • Support trade shows, workshops, and on-site evaluations.
  • Travel locally and internationally to support opportunities and projects.
  • Maintain records of requirements, pilot activities, evaluations, and project docs.
  • Liaise professionally with customers, suppliers, engineering teams, and leadership.

Experience
  • Minimum of three (3) to seven (7) years of experience in Solution Engineering, Sales Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related technical customer-facing roles.
  • Experience working within manufacturing operations, assembly systems, automated production environments, industrial software, or Industry 4.0 initiatives.

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, process flow diagrams, manufacturing documentation, and technical specifications.
  • Experience supporting pilot projects, proof-of-concept activities, equipment commissioning, validation, or implementation projects.
  • Understanding of manufacturing quality systems, compliance requirements, traceability methodologies, error-proofing systems, and audit requirements.
  • Experience working directly with Process Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Quality Engineers, Maintenance Teams, Production Supervisors, and Plant Leadership.

Job Objectives
  • Support business growth by providing technical expertise throughout the sales cycle and assisting customers in evaluating manufacturing execution, traceability, maintenance, and operational improvement solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve throughput, productivity, quality, workforce effectiveness, equipment utilization, and manufacturing consistency through automation and digital transformation technologies.
  • Translate technical capabilities into measurable business outcomes including cycle time reduction, bottleneck elimination, throughput improvement, improved compliance, and increased operational visibility.
  • Serve as the technical liaison between customers, Account Executives, engineering teams, product teams, and implementation resources.
  • Support successful deployment and adoption of Jendamark automation systems and ODIN Digital Solutions.
Main Responsibilities
