Solutions Consultant/Sales Engineer (remote position in the US only)

Title: Solution Consultant / Sales Engineer

Position details: Full-time, exempt, remote position in the US only

Reports to: VP, NA Solution Consultants

Salary range: $120,000 - $140,000

Travel Required: Yes

Role and Responsibilities

This role requires the candidate to work independently and as part of the broader North American Sales team, both from a home office and in the field. Travel is necessary to visit customers, prospects, or partners, and to participate in sales and marketing events.

The Solution Consultant will collaborate with Netstock’s Sales, Marketing, and Channel Partner teams across North America. They will provide presales support to Account Executives and Account Managers by qualifying opportunities, crafting tailored supply chain solutions, and delivering product demonstrations. They will also support product knowledge transfer and post-sale customer success.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver compelling demonstrations of the Netstock platform, explaining how it addresses supply chain and inventory challenges
  • Work with Account Executives and Managers to identify customer pain points and develop tailored solutions
  • Lead workshops to design solutions integrated with the customer’s ERP system
  • Train partner teams on positioning Netstock in their sales processes
  • Present at events and conferences (~4 per year), including demos and thought leadership sessions
  • Ensure smooth onboarding during the sales-to-success transition
  • Address follow-up questions and analyze prospects during sales engagements (typically 2–5 per engagement)
  • Share insights and collaborate globally to improve presales practices
Required Skills
  • Strong knowledge of inventory planning, demand forecasting, or supply chain management
  • Experience with Salesforce, Zoom, and SaaS platforms
  • Excellent communication skills, including public speaking
  • Ability to demonstrate complex SaaS solutions to diverse audiences
  • Self-management, deadline orientation, and teamwork skills
  • Sales acumen with storytelling ability to influence decisions
  • Experience as a current or former Netstock user is a plus
Qualifications and Education Requirements

Experience supporting the sale and implementation of inventory planning or supply chain software. The ideal candidate has strong presales skills, can work independently, and has experience training others, especially channel partners, on solution value and positioning.
