Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Architecture Manager in San Francisco to lead a team of architects supporting SWAT customers and enterprise-scale cloud initiatives.

You will hire, mentor, and coach engineers, drive deep technical engagements with customer executives, and guide migrations and modernization on AWS while scaling learnings through internal and external publications and speaking engagements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise IT application work with at least 2 years hands-on software development or DevOps experience.
• 2+ years architecting/operating solutions on cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, etc.).
• 8+ years of technology solutions development and evangelising end-to-end roadmaps guiding IT transformations toward cloud computing.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience leading and growing teams of senior technology professionals, ideally in customer facing roles.

• Leverage your strong writing skills to produce high quality documents that propose new processes or inventions.

The Amazon Web Services (AWS) sales organization is looking for an experienced Solutions Architect Leader to grow and lead a team of Solutions Architects who support our largest SWAT customers. In this role you and your team will partner with sellers as part of an account team, to drive business outcomes for your customers. You will lead, motivate, and coach your team in developing relationships with technical executives, guide customers in using architecture best practices, partner with product teams to invent new solutions on behalf of your customers, develop internal processes. You will also coach your team in scaling their learnings through internal and external publications and speaking engagements.

Your customers consist of the largest public and fastest growing software companies who provide solutions for enterprises, processing billions of transactions per day. Basic Qualifications

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
