Job summary

Beyond SOF is seeking a Solutions Architect with TS/SCI clearance to design delivery architectures for classified programs. You will create use-case architectures, data schemas, and documentation, and collaborate with strategic partners to craft integrated product solutions.

The role requires 5+ years in architecture/DevOps and strong communication skills. Travel up to 25% (DC metro area and CONUS/OCONUS) and SCIF work as needed; security-focused software development and cross-team collaboration

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in solutions architecture, engineering, or DevOps within security-focused environments.
• US citizenship and active TS//SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% (DC metro area, CONUS/OCONUS).
• Willingness to work in a SCIF as needed to meet delivery requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and architect delivery details for customers: use-case architecture, queries, data schema, documentation, and other requirements.
• Engage with strategic partners to architect integrated product solutions and features.
• Lead lightweight customer validation exercises, including deploying ZeroReveal using Ansible.
• Represent Enveil’s engineering voice to customers and translate requirements into engineering tasks.

Clearance: TS//SCI security clearance with a full-scope polygraph

Salary: $200k

What you'll get to do

• Conceptualize and architect the details of delivery to customers, including:

• Engage with strategic partners to architect integrated product solutions and features
• Lead and develop lightweight customer validation exercises to include deploying ZeroReveal using Ansible.
• Provide an authoritative voice to represent Enveil’s engineering thought process and domain expertise for delivery and sales motions
  • Decompose customer requirements into necessary engineering tasks and work with engineering to plan tickets to implement meet those tasks
  • Be a customer advocate: drive customer feedback into support and engineering
  • Help transition products and features from Engineering to Sales
  • Help field technical customer questions with the Sales team.
• Be a technical voice of the Enveil, representing Enveil to customers and customers to the engineering team

What you need to be successful

• Must be a US Citizen
• An active TS//SCI security clearance with a full scope polygraph
• 5+ years experience as a solutions architect, engineer, and/or devops engineer
• B.S. or higher degree in Computer Science or otherEngineering fields
• Willingness to travel - 25% of the time (Local travel in the Washington Metro area, CONUS, and OCONUS)
• Willingness to work in a SCIF as needed to meet with customers and satisfy delivery requirements (25 - 50%)
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Willingness to work on a highly collaborative team, think on your feet, and handle live customer calls.
• Desire and ability to learn new technical skills, quickly and constantly
• Familiarity or experience with diverse technical topics including:
  • Query languages
  • Data storage technologies/ database design
  • Cloud DevOps and Cloud services (for example: Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation; AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
  • Designing system architecture
  • Linux system administration
  • Software languages such as Java and/or Python
  • Machine learning
  • Security architecture and Security-oriented software development (especially on Linux)
  • ETL on distributed systems (Spark, Hadoop, etc.)
