Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Solutions Architect – Security & Identity for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in the USA.

Solutions Architect – Security & Identity to lead the design and execution of secure, scalable, and enterprise-grade Zero Trust frameworks for our high-profile client. In this role, you will be the technical design authority responsible for aligning Microsoft cloud security solutions, specifically Entra ID, Intune, and Defender for Endpoint, with business objectives, compliance requirements, and operational needs.

This role is critical to translating Zero Trust principles into actionable, technically sound blueprints that reduce cyber risk, enforce device and identity governance, and deliver long-term security resilience.

Requirements

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, including 4+ years designing identity and security architectures using Microsoft cloud technologies.
• Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, Microsoft Intune, and Defender for Endpoint.
• Experience designing secure and scalable identity workflows, including hybrid directory integration via Entra Connect or Azure AD Connect.
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) frameworks, NIST 800-207, and STIG/CIS security baselines.
• Proven ability to create high-level and low-level designs, technical documentation, and architecture diagrams.
• Fluency with scripting and automation concepts using PowerShell and/or Microsoft Graph API.
• Ability to guide cross-functional teams and collaborate with clients to drive consensus and successful adoption.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions to business and non-technical audiences.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of secure identity, access control, and endpoint protection strategies based on Microsoft’s Zero Trust model.
• Translate client business needs, regulatory requirements, and risk posture into technical solutions that span identity protection, device compliance, and access enforcement.
• Architect end-to-end workflows for identity federation, MFA, SSO, Conditional Access, and device trust policies across hybrid environments.
• Collaborate with infrastructure engineers to ensure policy execution aligns with architectural intent and security baselines.
• Design and document integration plans for Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
• Develop and oversee the implementation of STIG/CIS-aligned baselines, device compliance frameworks, and risk-based access controls.
• Provide high-level guidance for policy orchestration, legacy system integration, and Modernization roadmaps.
• Review technical configurations, resolve design challenges, and support change control processes.
• Mentor engineering staff and act as a point of escalation for complex technical issues and design questions.
  
  

Nice To Have

• Microsoft certifications such as SC-100 (Cybersecurity Architect), SC-300, or AZ-500.
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, SIEM/SOAR tools, or compliance automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM) and experience delivering projects in sprint-based environments.
• Previous consulting experience with Fortune 500 or regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, or government).
